Privacy Policy

Las Vegas Chess School (“we,” “us”) runs chess classes and private lessons in Las Vegas, Nevada. This policy explains what information we collect through lvchess.school, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you submit the contact form on our site, we collect the parent or guardian’s name, the child’s first name, the child’s age, and whichever contact details you provide — phone number, email address, or both — along with any message you write. Every field except your name and your child’s name is optional, though we need at least one way to reach you.

The form is intended for parents and guardians, not for children. Please do not submit information about a child unless you are their parent or legal guardian.

How we use it, and how we may contact you

By submitting the form you agree that we may contact you at the phone number or email address you provide — by call, text message, or email — to respond to your inquiry and to discuss classes, scheduling, and enrollment. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying STOP to a text, by asking us on the phone, or by emailing matikozyan@gmail.com, and we will honor it.

We use the information only to answer you, recommend a program, and administer enrollment. We do not sell your information, and we do not rent or trade it for anyone else’s marketing.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical and usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring site, and how you moved through the page. We use it to understand which parts of the site are useful and whether our advertising is working.

Our advertising and analytics partners set cookies or similar identifiers for this purpose, including Google (Google Ads conversion measurement), Meta / Facebook (advertising measurement), and PostHog (product analytics). You can limit this through your browser’s cookie settings, and through Google Ads settings and your Facebook ad preferences.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the school, and only so they can perform that service for us:

• Supabase — securely stores the inquiries submitted through our form.
• Resend — delivers the email notification that tells the coach a new inquiry has arrived.
• Vercel — hosts the website.
• PostHog, Google, and Meta — website analytics and advertising measurement, as described above.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our students, families, or staff.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain enrollment records, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

Security

Inquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with access limited to the coach and staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you have given us, or to stop contacting you. Email matikozyan@gmail.com or call (323) 422-2239 and we will take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
